They are professional looking, letter
size and have a NCR copy attached for the applicant.
- Just call (800-654-4936) or email (research@researchinc.net) and we'll send you a supply.
- Before accepting applications make sure you
have a fair, non discriminatory procedure you can
follow to treat applicants equally.
- Make sure the application is as complete as
possible. Make sure it is readable. The
Social Security Number must be clear.
- Applications must be signed by the
applicant and co-applicant.
- The address of the rental unit
must be shown also.
- Get ID, copy their
Driver's License. Learn how to Decipher
a Driver's License. Ask to see their Social
Security Card, make a copy.
- Disclose the terms of the Rental
Agreement and Deposit.
- Disclose the Screening Fee costs
and explain it is non-refundable.
- Disclose your requirements, such
as no smoking, no pets, etc.
- Agree on when you will let them
know the results of the screening process and your
decision.
- Keep the application for at
least three (3) years.
